Canada's greenhouse gas emissions profile is about to change. What does this mean for Canada's economy, provinces, industries, environmental not for profits, and, citizens?
Canada is beginning to step up its game in addressing GHG emissions as provinces announce action plans, taxes and trade. Progress is accelerating and action plans proliferating. Many of these initiatives will rely on technologies that are still in development or early in the implementation stage.
As part of the next steps in this process, the Conference Board of Canada will host Reshaping Energy 2017: Opportunities and Impacts of Reducing Canadian GHG Emissions on April 11-12, 2017 in Ottawa.
