Description: Carolinian Canada is a coalition of non-government organizations and government agencies with a common interest in the conservation of biodiversity within Ontario's Carolinian Life Zone. Carolinian Canada is Canada's most heavily populated and productive landscape and as a consequence is also home to more rare and endangered species than any other region of the country. Carolinian Canada has developed "The Big Picture", a digital bioregional map that portrays the recovery efforts needed to rebuild a sustatinable natural heritage system in southwestern Ontario.
