Halton Peel Woodlands and Wildlife Stewardship
Acronym: HPWWS

Description: HPWWS is a council of Ontario Stewardship representing Halton and Peel regions. The council encourages land practices that sustain natural resources, ecosystem function and biological diversity with an emphasis on woodlands and wildlife. Our slogan, "Promoting resource stewardship in Halton and Peel". Some of our projects: Woodlot Workshops, Shorelines Protection, Envirothon, Stewardship Rangers, Atlantic Salmon Recovery, Living with Wildlife, Green Policies for Municipalities, and The Halton Natural Areas Study.
