The OEN Forest Caucus will be holding a special event at Metro Hall in Toronto
on Saturday, March 8th from 9 - 5.

The focus of the meeting will be the Class Environmental Assessment of Timber Management on Crown Lands in Ontario.

Currently under review by the Ministry of the Environment, the Timber EA provides the legal framework for forestry operations on Crown Land.

Representatives from the MOE, industry, First Nations and ENGOs will be invited to discuss the Timber EA. There will also be time in the agenda for a go'round to allow participants to update others on local issues, and later in the day, a strategy session for OEN Forest Caucus members.
